Qualifications:
British Dressage level 2 coaching certificate, British Horse Society First Aid Certificate, British Horse Society Safeguarding and Protecting Children Certificate, freelance coach insurance.
Lindsey rode competitively, eventing and show jumping, for 30+ years but in her late 50’s found her physical agility deteriorating which increased her anxiety about getting hurt from falling off. This sparked an interest in body mechanics and how to train her body to improve balance and therefore security in the saddle. She passes these techniques onto her clients, using imagery and visualisation to help riders refine their position to improve stability
Molly Parkinson
Qualifications:
Level 3 distinction in Equine science and management, UKCC level 1 coach, Freelance coach insurance.
Molly has ridden dressage competitively for 10 years on a variety of horses. She has worked on International competition dressage yards and has been trained by some of the top names in dressage. She was introduced to horse and rider biomechanics at a young age and her fascination with the subject has grown and is now at the centre of her coaching. Molly encourages clients to experiment with their position to get a correct feeling, rather than just giving verbal instructions. Once a skill is learnt by trial and error, the brain is able to retain the memory for longer and can recall it faster and more accurately.
